On 11 April 2019, Prof Wang was invited by the Hong Kong and Science Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) to represent one of the local biotechnology companies to exchange ideas on the development of biotechnology in Hebei. The event was organized by the Hebei government and HKSTP. The Provincial Governor of Hebei Province Mr Xu Qin led more than 70 Hebei industry leaders to communicate with the local industry.
